Dell's top line of laptops with high quality 15.6" monitors and good battery life. They are performant models for fruitful work and pleasant rest. They differ in ultra-compact dimensions for such a screen size (thickness 17 mm) and low weight (1.8 kg). The body construction uses aluminium and high-tech and ultra-strong carbon fiber. As a hardware basis for the line, the manufacturer used quad-core models of 7th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors.
The amount of pre-installed RAM is from 8 to 16 GB with the possibility of upgrading to 32 GB. All Dell XPS 15 9560 laptops are equipped with high-speed SSD drives, some are additionally equipped with more capacious classic HDDs. The 15.6-inch InfinityEdge thin-frame screens are based on high-quality IPS-type matrices with a resolution of 1920x1080, and 4K UHD screens (3840x2160) are installed in the older models of the line.
Decent gaming capabilities of laptops are realized thanks to a discrete Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card with 4 GB of GDDR5 graphics memory. At FullHD resolution, it is able to provide acceptable performance in any popular AAA class gaming titles from 2015-2018 at medium-high graphics settings. Networking and communication capabilities are supported by built-in 802.11ac high-speed Wi-Fi, HD webcam and microphone/stereo speakers. To connect peripherals, USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2 ports with Thunderbolt v3 support are provided.
