Just picked up the set from the post office. 255/70/15, Previously rode on 235/75/15 and 30/9.5/15. First impressions: The manufacturer positions it as an AT. It's more like a highway tire with a pattern similar to AT. 1) The tread depth is very small for an AT, only 8mm, while all my previous ATs had a minimum of 12mm. This tire is 1/5 less. 2) The weight of 255/70/15 is 15.9kg. Quite normal. 3) The tread blocks feel quite soft. 4) The sidewall is soft - this is concerning. 5) No side lugs. 6) The distance between blocks in the center of the tread is of normal width, but closer to the edges, it's very small for an AT. 7) Tread width is 15-20mm wider than the 235/75/15. In terms of height, this 255/70/15 is equal to the 235/75/15 (but the diameter is smaller than 30/9.5/15). So far, the only obvious advantage I see is the low price. price aT tires do not perform well. just bought Austone SP-302 |
