The French infrared radiator heater Airelec Premier Pro 2000 is the most powerful model in the line. This elegant electrical appliance with a 2-kilowatt mikathermal emitter hidden under a mesh grill looks very similar to a wall convector. The metal case received a glossy epoxy-polyester coating in white (RAL 9016) and water protection class (IP24). Despite the manufacturer's assurances that the device can be used in the bathroom and kitchen, we believe that this is insufficient protection for safe operation in damp areas. The monolithic aluminium alloy heating element does not affect the level of air humidity and operates silently due to the absence of a fan in the design. A 1.3 m double insulated cable (without plug) is provided for connection to a 230 V household power supply.

Timer and programmer

The model is interesting with a convenient and functional electronic control unit equipped with a 2-digit digital display and 3 buttons. To select one of the 3 built-in modes ("Comfort", "Economy" and "Anti-freeze"), use the "Mode" button. And with the buttons "+" and "-" the desired temperature of the electronic thermostat is set. The temperature can be adjusted in 1 °C increments from +5 °C to +35 °C with an accuracy of ± 0.1 °C. The built-in timer and programmer allow you to pre-set the automatic operation of the device for each day of the coming week. The user can programme the daily operation of the "Comfort" mode: continuous heating during the day, morning and evening heating, as well as 3 heating cycles - morning, afternoon and evening. The setting buttons can be locked to prevent unauthorized access (child lock). The device is equipped with an open window sensor that automatically turns off the heating during airing the room. And the overheating sensor will independently de-energize the device at a critical temperature. The manufacturer installed a 3-year factory warranty on the heater.
